The product itself is fairly solid for Chinese metal and the assembly is easy if you use the internet. The included instructions could be better. A clamp was broken, but easily replaced by Seizmik. If you don t have a Seizmik windshield prepare to do your own modifications to two of the mounting brackets. Seizmik should included different mounting options included or sold separately.

Side By Side service was great. Received hood rack quickly and packaging was good. Unfortunately the product is manufactured poorly. I actually ordered this rack from another company and sent it back because the corner welds and frame were scratched and poorly painted. That company eventually said they didn't have anymore so that's how I ended up here. The product I received from Side by Side Stuff was only slightly better. The paint scratches were not as bad, so we decided to keep it. We realized Seizmik quality control is just poor and to send back and get a replacement probably wouldn't fix the issues. As far as installation - a very simple process. Haven't used it enough to offer an opinion on how it will hold up with regular use and weather.

Service was great, item shipped fast, but product started to rust at welds the first time I washed my side x side. For the price, Seizmik should have painted the hood rack better. I will have to fix myself. Excellent rating for your company, sad rating for Seizmik.

The hood rack for Kubota RTV X1120 is well made and when installed, provides good, solid space to carry a chainsaw, fuel and other handy tools. BUT, and this is very important, if your X1120 has a factory installed windshield, as mine did, the kit can NOT be installed without significant work. The brackets used to stabilize the rack as supplied are to be attached to the roll cage. This cannot be done if a factory installed windshield is on your Kubota. I was about to send my rack back to Side by Side Stuff when my neighbor, who is a master metal fabricator and welder stopped by and said he could make the necessary parts and finish installation of the rack. He created two new brackets, with clearances for the factory windshield to pivot out, smoothed the metalwork and painted the new brackets to match the rack, and installed them. They work perfectly and I have a good solid rack for my tools and a huge obligation to my friend. One other problem with the rack is that in the advertisements, the rack is to swing forward on so that the RTV hood can be opened to check fluids, etc. With the factory roll cage and front brush bar, that is not possible. To check fluids, four clasps must be undone at the four weight bearing corners, then lift the entire basket off the RTV to gain access to the hood. It's easy to do, but the rack is heavy and for some people, this will be a two person job. In summary, the rack is well made, looks good and effective for its intended purpose of carrying tools. For the Kubota RTV X1120, be prepared to make two mounting brackets and have a buddy to help you lift off the rack when you need to check fluids under the hood.
