The Stealth winch by KFI is water resistant, comes with all wiring and switches to install (you will need a winch mount in most cases) and has a fiber rope. With all wires and switches included, the KFI winch with 3500 lbs. of pulling power can quickly be mounted on your UTV. A practical addition to your ride that has endless applications for work or play. This utv winch consists of cast aluminum and quality steel components for durability and long performance life. Dealer installed winch on my Kawasaki Mule. I have been using the winch often this winter as a critical component of my snow blade set up. The winch has worked flawlessly with one exception: the steel cable broke. I attribute it to user error because I was not attentive to how the cable was rewrapping on the spool and the cable got kinked and weakened it. So overall, I am pleased with the performance of the winch to date but recommend users to pay close attention to how the cable during retrievals.

I haven't had a chance to pull anybody out of the mud yet, but I can tell you that the winch is quite easy to install thanks to the excellent and well-illustrated instructions. I bought mine with the optional winch mount for my Polaris Ace and the kit came with this really sharp-looking black wrinkle-finish bumper and fairlead mount which replaces the lower grille section and mounts in front of the winch motor. The end result is a very clean installation that looks like it came from the factory.

Shipping was very quick received within two days. Packed very well the mount and fitting was exact. The stealth Black looks awesome could not ask for a better looking winch. Just mounted today have not used it yet took about 4 hours to install taking your time. Even the Solenoid fit to 4 holes already drilled The only holes I had to drill were for the switch because of where I wanted it. Excellent Thank you

Shipped surprisingly quick. KFI mounting bracket for the fairlead was a concern because of the way my UTV Giant front bumper mounts but it ended up being a non-issue because the UTV Giant plate on the bumper mount was thin enough to bend around the overlapping area. The directions for install were pretty good and I really took my time with it over two mornings. Did the bracket install on morning 1 and the wiring on morning 2. It seems very solid. I have been riding with it one time so far and didn't need it but did go thru two water crossings and everything still seems to work good as new when testing after the ride.
