Product Description

Applicability: 2011-14 Can Am Commander

This rig is one of the highest quality machines on the market. When it comes to replacing your OEM parts with aftermarket assemblies, you want to be sure to keep that high-quality theme. The same applies to a Can Am rack and pinion module. That's where Side By Side Stuff comes in with top-shelf rebuild kits, like this Commander Rackzilla Rack and Pinon system by Wicked Bilt.

Here's the deal, the rack and pinion is an essential part of the steering assembly. It can make or break a ride, either offering smooth sailing or rough handling. This UTV rack and pinion by Wicked Bilt is engineered with automotive-grade materials with extreme-duty, high articulation steel sealed rod ends. Then it's topped off with a powder-coated finish to prevent premature wear and tear. The offroad rack and pinion have 8,000-pounds of pull out strength! Get control of your ride with this heavy-duty Commander replacement part kit today!

  • 24 mm automotive grade rack & pinion
  • 1/2" steel mounting bracket with 3/8" steel backing plate
  • 5/8" diameter inner tie rod shank
  • 8000 lbs pull out strength
  • Extreme duty, high articulation steel sealed rod ends
  • Powder coat finish
  • Made in the USA

What does the quick ratio steering do essentially. Less force to turn the wheels or turns the wheels faster with a half a turn vs a full turn?
Often times, machines without EPS (electric power steering) or with OEM EPS can prove to be very hard to turn the steering wheel. The quick ratio steering is going to reduce the amount of force you need to make your steering wheel turn. This is going to cut down on how much strength your arms use to turn the steering as well as make your machine turn smoother.
