Item is intended to cover up a weak point on the Defender so a stick, log or unscene object does not come in the cab via the floor. Have had dealer order & now myself for 2021 Defender Max XMR & neither item fits out of the box. 2nd time I ordered I called to make sure that everyone was clear on what was needed & our 1st experience. The issue is XMR Defenders have factory rock sliders put on the frame and the part seems needs to need not have coverage all the way to the outside downside corner. It looks like it will slide right in place with a couple cuts to accommodate this. Positively it is very solid & well finished. This is a one of a kind part so I am keeping & plan to modify it in hopes it will ultimately further bullet proof the Defender XMR.
