This Ranger front windshield is hard coated to help prevent scratching under normal use and conditions. Polycarbonate is a clear plastic that is nearly indestructible. But, then, the durability is significantly increased once it's infused with a hard coating on both sides.

In addition, this UTV accessory includes an automotive-grade, high deflection bulb gasket. This is to ensure the Polaris windshield has an air-tight fit. Also, it keeps water and other particles from sneaking their way into the cab. The top portion will fold against the bottom when the windshield is in the down position, so there is no direct contact with the hood.

Now, for all the extras! First, the Ranger windshield includes a quick-release clamp system. So it takes mere minutes to fold the windshield using the thumbscrews. Above that, the attached UV-protected hinges have an ABS header panel. What that does is protect the component from wind gusts.
