Shall we begin with the build? 3 Star Industries uses quarter-inch-thick Lexan, a polycarbonate resin thermoplastic. The attributes that come with this are significantly more durable than most standardly used UTV windshield materials. As a matter of fact, this side-by-side windshield is 250-times stronger than glass while being at least 25-percent more durable than acrylic. In other words, this nearly shatterproof unit is more than tough enough to handle your ride conditions. Now that we know the durability factor let's talk about these available upgrades.

To really push the performance life of the Polaris windshield, 3 Star Industries includes the option to add D.O.T. approved MR10 hard coating and or built-in vents. A hard coat infused polycarbonate RZR PRO XP windshield will not fade, yellow, or scratch as easily as a clear non-coated unit. In addition, the hard coating increases durability for bulletproof protection you won't find anywhere else. On the other hand, the vents are adjustable, allowing much-needed climate control throughout the cab. If that isn't enough, those adjustable vents also reduce low-pressure suction, a drawback that causes dust rollback.
