Conceptually, the Windshield performs like I expected. it is the same concept as a golf carts windshield. Mine came damaged in shipping. I had to get the full hardware bag and the center hinge replaced. Came very fast. The rubber holders when the windshield is down are very tight. No way I can pull back up from inside. I have to hold the bottom part to release the upper or it will pull right off the frame. Locks are OK. the tolerance is very small and my right lock hits the frame slightly. Holes on the top locks were too small to house the plastic square's buttons. Had to drill them larger.

I had a half windshield on my 2021 Defender and it was alright as long as it wasnt raining or snowing and the trail wasnt dusty but this fold down shield is the best of both worlds. I can have the breeze when I want and not the cold when I dont. I would like to see it fit the bracket that mounts on the dash at the bottom in the center like my half shield had to hold the windshield steady
