Product Description
A Warning from PRP:
Proper installation and consistent use of the 4 point harness restraint system is critical to your safety in event of accident. To reduce risk of serious injury or death:
Do you ride a bit more intense than what your standard automotive buckle can handle? It’s not that it won’t keep you safe; it’s that it isn’t quite as secure as a PRP 2-Inch, 4-Point Seat Harness with the Auto-Latch system. These buckles are designed to offer adequate confinement during rough rides. Adding the safety feature will greatly increase protection and reduce body aches due to impact and ride fatigue.
With the PRP 2-inch automotive-style latch harness with a sternum strap, you get the security of a 4-point harness and the convenience of the clip found on the factory belts. Don't sacrifice convenience for safety. Install a set of these PRP 2 inch UTV harnesses in your buggy and have both! These offroad harnesses are compatible with nearly any machine application from a Polaris RZR XP 900 to a Can-Am Commander and an Arctic Cat Wildcat to a Honda Pioneer, as well as most other UTVs on the market.
Features:
Optional Belt Minder:
Belt Minders are offered as an option. The purpose of the Belt Minders is to keep the shoulder straps from moving too far apart on the bar behind your shoulders. Check out one of the photos above for an illustration.
Optional Harness Override Plug:
If you have a Can Am model, Honda Talon, Kawasaki Teryx KRX 1000, 2015+ Polaris, 2017+ Yamaha UTV, or Wildcat XX then you're going to want the Dragonfire Harness Override Plug for your machine when installing an aftermarket 4 or 5 point harness for the driver seat. This override clip is designed to trick your machines computer into thinking that you're buckled up, allowing you really hit that gas pedal and go! There is no wiring required, simply plug it in and go play.
Proper installation and consistent use of the 4 point harness restraint system is critical to your safety in event of accident. To reduce risk of serious injury or death:
- Follow vehicle manufacturers, and PRP Seats instructions and safety messages during installation and use of this product.
- Use all belts provided. Secure lap belt first; low and snug across hips. Sternum strap tight at chest line (min. 4 inches below neck). Adjust remaining straps per instructions and confirm fitment restrains user & provides safe clearance from wheel, dash, roll cage, etc.
- Inspect all components of the 4 point harness restraint system regularly & replace as indicated by accident, wear or abrasion. Replace no later than 2 years from date on SFI tag, or purchase.
- This 4 point competition restraint system is intended for UTV or other off-road vehicle-not replacement for FMVSS 209 restraints. Never use with child car seats or boosters.

The 4 Point Seat Harness is great. It keeps you in your seat with comfort, Going over bumps, and I've hit some big ones, you stay in your seat instead of being thrown to one side or the other of the seat. They're great and worth the money.

Bought and installed this harness after my son rolled my 2015 XP 1K. No one was hurt in that incident, but I felt that I wanted a better restraint system after that. While I have managed to keep it on 4 wheels since installing, I have found this to be very comfortable and really works well. The only thing to note is that this harness comes with a separate cut-off switch that you will have to install somewhere. I put mine in the center console for easy access. Works great.

I have not actually had time to try them on the trails. But just riding around the house they are a lot more comfortable and more reliable that the factory seat belts! And it also takes a little getting use to from the previous seat belts-you will not move much!!
