They used third generation heavy-duty, high-twist Aramid fiber cord to meet tensile load requirements along with a high modulus rubber compound that has been impregnated with short Aramid fibers. This provides improved belt-to-sheave adhesion, heat resistance and dissipation, as well as a reduced belt temperature.
