We have to seed 7 acres for our horses, was looking forward to having this tool! It's decent and has been helpful BUT, the way the bin is designed, it needs constant stirring above the seed chute or it gathers on the ridges as you get towards the last 1/3 of the bin. Also, the chute opening cable is too long and does not close at all to shut off the flow to the spreader wheel. We will shorten the cable and get more of a direct throw to hopefully get it to close without doing it by hand. I just have one of my grandkids ride in the back and keep stirring the seed to keep the flow going.

I got the job done with this product, but (1) the hopper arrived cracked, I had to repair. A replacement hopper is supposed to follow when available; (2) the gate requires two hands to open and close, does not slide easily; (3) the capacity is closer to 60 pounds instead of the advertised 125 pounds.
