I purchased this heater after doing A LOT of research. While it doesn't have all the features available on other units, this is the best value for my dollar. It has a two speed fan, High and Low, and doesn't have a variable temperature setting - why do you need more than two fan speeds? and if you're using the heater, you probably want all the heat anyway. I thought installation was fairly easy. It took about 2 hours in my buddies garage with plenty of distractions and in no rush. Be certain to measure twice on your dash cuts, and USE A HOLE SAW WHEN DIRECTED. I didn't, and it worked, but it would have been a better fit if I had. Everything I needed was in the kit and the directions were easy to follow, read them a couple times before starting the installation and you'll be fine. 18k BTU's, metal housing, two speed fan, all parts and hardware needed for complete installation, at a reasonable price... what else can you ask for? The Inferno Cab Heater really pumps the heat out. My only regret is not buying it sooner.

Was very frustrated during installation. I first found out that there were no fittings provided in the shipment to connect coolant lines. So I went to the auto parts store to get fittings and hose clamps because I did not want to wait for the manufacturer to ship me some. I was on a time line to get the installation completed. However I did not find out until I cut the coolant line on my ranger 900xp that the heater comes with 5/8" heater hose and the line on the ranger is a 1/2".... so now another trip to town, and another set of fittings. Also I thought there could have been slightly more heater hose provided. I bought another roll after hooking up the heater and running back to the engine I would have had to pull the lines extremely tight and I'm still not sure that I would have been able to make the connections without kinking the hose off. Yes fittings are fairly cheap but time, gas and frustration adds up quickly! I did build a bypass with shut off valves in the space under the passenger seat next to the battery so that they were accessible. For two reasons, one I want to be able to cut off the hot coolant flow to the cab in the summer and second if there is ever an issue I can shut off coolant flow to the heater and bypass it directly back to the oil cooler. The rest of the installation was not difficult. If all the parts were there I would have had the installation completed in around 4 hrs. And now that it is installed and I have got to use it I am happy with its performance so far. When plowing snow I have to shut it off or it will cook you out if you have a light jacket on. So far I am happy with its performance we will see if it holds up over time.

Recently bought the Inferno heater for a 15’ Ranger. Unfortunately there were some incorrect parts so I sent them a message. The next morning I had a call from them and promptly had parts on order. The service given was the best I have ever experienced!
