I've got the 3/8" skid on my 2019 Talon 1000R. The fitment is spot-on and it gave me zero trouble whatsoever installing by myself. With two sets of hands installation would be a breeze. I did go ahead and anti-seize each and every bolt to make life easier in the future when it's time to remove and reinstall the skid for cleaning so they don't strip out or break off. Since the bolts are not self tappers it's worth the extra few minutes to save yourself from the headache going forward.
This is an expensive accessory, but in my opinion is worth the cost to prevent damage to the oil pan/transmission on the Talons. They sit dangerously low in the frame and could get cracked on large rocks if you hit with enough downward force on the factory skid.
