I like where it mounts out of the way so you can see out of your rear view mirror and leaves the bed open for hauling gear. The reason I gave it 4 out of 5 stars is the welds on one of the lug bolts failed when mounting the spare. Figured I’d wait and see if the spare loosens up before I take it back off and re-weld it, if I do will probably re-weld all of them.

Great product to keep spare up and out of your rear view. Only concern is that there is a lot of weight put on this mount and worry that jarring and vibration will eventually cause the mount to break at some time.

This is the best way to get your spare up and out of the way. I did have to make a cut out with a metal blade jigsaw, a small semi circle from my Polaris OE aluminum roof so my 30 inch bighorn would ride up and out of the way, but this was no big deal. Now I can see under my spare from the rear view mirror. It is built solid.

Not easy to install. Had to disconnect one of the cage risers which then needed to be pulled back into place with a come-along. Glad to see that it came with 4 lug nuts until I found that they don't work with recessed holes. You need deep well lug nuts or need to add tapered spacers. Carrier came very well packaged except it was already scratched in many places before it was packaged. All in all it is very functional, does not obstruct rear view and looks good.
